Since you are taking an online course, your exam will be taken online with an invigilator. Exceptions are only AR, GA, IL and NY. Before you can access your online exam, you must do the following: Examples of people who could serve as invigilators would be librarians, teachers, police officers, community volunteers, religious leaders, or someone who works in the public service. A proctor is an approved person who performs an audit and maintains the integrity of the audit process. It is the student`s responsibility to find his/her own invigilator. Without suggestions for the types of people who might be interviewed, McKissock cannot provide additional help in finding a guard. It is the student`s duty to arrange the test with an appropriate proctor. Choose someone who has no personal interest in passing the exam. When you`re tested, you don`t want your choice of proctor to stand between you and your career. It is generally not appropriate or advisable to take the exam in a private residence.
Your examiner must be present and be able to see you and your screen for the duration of the exam. It is the auditor`s responsibility to ensure the integrity of the audit by confirming each of the following statements: States that require inspections for real property have a different number of attempts. We encourage you to visit your state`s licensing requirements pages for more information. You can view Proctor`s requirements on the government requirements pages of our website. McKissock would prefer that you take your proctored exam at an educational institution — such as a public library, community college, university, or any other place where education takes place — although this is not mandatory. These facilities have computer banks, experienced educators who are familiar with exams, and provide a quiet atmosphere more conducive to taking exams. Other examples would be the post office, law firm, police station, notary`s office or any other place appropriate by a supervisor representing the public interest in this transaction.
Once your invigilator has been selected, registered with McKissock and an exam date is scheduled, access your student dashboard to take your final supervised exam. If you have found a new invigilator who has never taken an exam for McKissock, they will need to register and create a proctor ID. This can be done in the course. when you log in to the exam. Below the application is a link that the examiner can click, which will take them to a form on McKissock`s website where they will enter their information. The invigilator is asked to confirm the following: You can view the full Proctor policy and all related monitoring FAQs HERE. In most cases, it is the student`s responsibility to find their own invigilator. To obtain an evaluation license or upgrade to a higher license level, you must take and pass a final proctored exam. A proctor is an approved person who performs an audit and maintains the integrity of the audit process. The states of Arkansas and New York require students to use invigilators ONLY from a list of approved invigilators. These two states also have separate Proctor policies. A proctored final exam is required to earn course credits for each eligible training course. The final exam must be taken in the presence of an aptitude test instructor.
Many states to evaluate pre-license and upgrade exams have three attempts. The only exceptions are Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, which allow only 2 exam attempts. The number of exam attempts varies depending on government requirements and the type of licence. If you do not pass the exam within the specified number of attempts, your course will be downloaded again (free) and you will have to start the course again to get another round of attempts.
