As part of our Legal Technology rotation, you may be seconded to the Technology department to experience company-wide projects rather than practice-specific legal technologies. During the two-year training contract, trainees are engaged in a wide range of tasks. In each seat, you will share an office with a partner or employee (your “supervisor”) who will guide you and ensure that you actively participate in their work and the work of the group. A partner in your group will meet with you regularly to discuss your progress, and your supervisor will give you a full assessment at the end of each seat. You will also receive informal feedback on a regular basis. These opportunities provide a forum for you to discuss your progress and develop your legal knowledge, skills and experience. As part of this course, you will be equipped with the fundamental concepts and skills you need to succeed as a legal operations professional. But the Legal Operations Training Course doesn`t stop there. Over the remaining two years, you will meet other cohort members who work in various municipal businesses to share experiences and network.
