(ii) No denunciation under staff rules 6 (c) (v) has taken place until the matter has been reviewed and reported by an ad hoc advisory committee appointed for that purpose by the Secretary-General. The Ad Hoc Advisory Forum shall be composed of a Chairperson appointed by the Secretary-General on the proposal of the President of the International Court of Justice and four members appointed by the Secretary-General in agreement with the Staff Council. (a) “Claimant” means an official or dependent official, as defined below, who makes a claim under these provisions. (a) A former staff member who is reinstated under conditions established by the Secretary-General shall be reappointed unless reinstated in accordance with staff regulation 4.18. (b) Without prejudice to the principle that promotion under staff regulation 4.15 is the normal means of recognizing increased responsibilities and demonstrated competence, a staff member in temporary or permanent employment who, for a limited period of more than three months, is required to perform all the functions and responsibilities of a post at a level above clearly identifiable with his or her own: In exceptional cases, a supplement to the special scheme not considered for pension purposes is granted from the beginning of the fourth month of service at the next level. (iv) `place of employment` means the country or territory within commuting distance, irrespective of national frontiers, in which the staff member is employed. (ii) Second, to reimburse the United Nations for any compensation awarded to the claimant under these rules; and (i) when a staff member is assigned to a duty station with a lower post adjustment than at his or her previous duty station, the staff member may continue to maintain the list adjustment applicable to the previous duty station for up to six months, while at least one immediate family member (spouse and children) remains at that duty station; PI employees may be eligible for a rent subsidy if they are new to the workplace and their rent is too high a proportion of their total compensation. These ex officio representatives advise the Committee in order to provide guidance to the Committee on the interpretation of the rules and matters within their functions. Gross monthly salary, less staff assessment, if any, (i) Once a year, the additional right to transport by the most economical means, up to a maximum amount established by the Secretary-General, the eligible staff member and each eligible family member for whom the United Nations has borne the travel costs to the duty station; (a) Failure by a staff member to comply with obligations under the Charter of the United Nations, the Staff Regulations and Rules or other relevant administrative rules, or with the standards of conduct expected of an international civil servant, may constitute misconduct and result in disciplinary proceedings and disciplinary measures for misconduct.
(d) The country of home leave shall be the country in which the staff member is a recognized national, subject to the following conditions, conditions and exceptions: (ii) A staff member who has served a fixed term and has completed less than three consecutive years of continuous service shall be entitled to sick leave of up to 3 months for full pay and 3 months for half pay for a period of 12 consecutive months; (a) Under conditions established by the Secretary-General, a staff member shall be entitled to maternity leave for a total period of 16 weeks: (ii) Lone parent allowance: a staff member recognized as a single parent in the higher service, mobile and mobile service categories shall receive a lone parent allowance equal to 6 per cent of the net base salary plus postal adjustment for the first dependent child; under conditions established by the Secretary-General.
