[Note: Requires EASE connection] There are a number of responsibilities associated with a Tier 4/student visa. If you postpone your studies, the university will inform the Ministry of the Interior and your visa will be cancelled. You will need to apply for a new student visa to start your studies at a later date. If you cannot arrange a later start date, the university must inform the Ministry of Interior that you will not start your program and that your student visa will be cancelled. You are not allowed to attempt to travel to the UK on your student visa. UKVI has confirmed that Exceptional Insurance (EA) will no longer be granted after 30 November 2022. If you currently have permission to stay in the UK with exceptional insurance, you can stay until the end date of your EA. You must plan to leave the UK no later than the end date of your EA to avoid becoming an overstayer. The process for obtaining a CAS number is different depending on the type of student you are. Find out what you need to do to get your CAS number. You must register at the university no later than the start date of your CAS. If you are unable to arrive at this time, you must agree on a later start date with your school and inform us so that we can inform the Ministry of the Interior. IP created by workers outside of their employment belongs to the employee in question, unless University resources were used to create the IP.
